Hi, this is Al
Well…folks it’s been a while. Sean tried to get this going again and we just didn’t do it. There are a few things that happened in the last year that are worth mentioning.
Harry’s Sean’s son Jimmy got married on a beach in Hawaii! That was the good news. Later in the year we were hit by some nasty hurricanes that damaged their properties in Florida and did some pretty extensive damage to their cabins on Penn’s Creek. It will take a lot of time and effort to get them back to the beautiful condition that they were in prior to the flood.
Helen and I also got hammered by Ivan. We were able to move most of the equipment and household goods to high ground at a friend’s house. After 3 days we were able to come home to a big muddy mess. My studio had about 3.5 feet of water in it and had to be rewired and new walls floor etc. Thing are getting back to normal and we are working on the house again. Another unfortunate thing about the flood was that we were set to rendezvous with Áine and Aedín in New York City. We are sorry to have missed them and hope to get together with them soon.
Harry’s Sean’s Maureen is now a grandmother. Susannah and Tim have a new baby boy, Cole Stanford.

Hi, This is Al
While I was updating this site I noticed that I'm about out of room. I'll be moving some of the photos over to RichardHouse.com This should not have any effect on how the pages load but you may notice that on the title bar you have been redirected to another site. I have lots of room at RichardHouse. So please send me some pix to post.
Merry Christmas to all.

Hello everybody from Áine/Anne Everyone well here and all family members expected here for Christmas. Seán is now in permanent residence in Gaoth Dobhair but is here for the next few days. Aedín is back from Galway tomorrow for a day or two and Máirín, Glenn and the two boys will be here on the 25th for 2 days, I hope. The dinner is a combined effort by the kids so I will sit back and sip and probably puff a few nonchalant cigarettes. Did I ever tell you my Ma's story about the neighbour whose house went on fire and while she watched the Fire Brigade at work, in the Ma's words, 'she smoked a nonchalant cigarette'! Last year we had two small cats in addition to the Inchicore family. Sadly one died and the other decided he didn't want to live in Emmet Court anymore. The days after Christmas will be spent doing a 10,000 word translation for the agency for whom I work at home. Nearly finished that sentence with a preposition, Mike! The proceeds, I hope will be spent in New York/Pennsylvania in the spring. Nobody told me Jimmy was married. Congratulations cousin. A suitable present will be researched and I hope delivered by your sisters if we do not meet in 2005. I am delighted with the new arrival and very pleased to welcome his grandparents to the new, wonderful world that is now before them. Hope everyone has a great Christmas and a very happy flood-free 2005. Beannachtaí na Féile Áine
